​      A HOME FOR SENIORS IN THE HEART OF THE PRAIRIES

In 1957 a decision was made to change the name to The Rosthern Mennonite Home for the Aged.  Very quickly the need for more space dictated further expansions in 1959, 1965 and 1967.

Over the years the Home has been supported by numerous churches and individuals in the area.  After over 70 years of service it was decided that a new building was necessary and the new facility was built on the same location.  The Home, now known as Prairie Meadow Place, will continue to serve the needs of seniors in the new facility for many years to come.
